I also cannot close Internet Explorer so I to end it with the task manager. I have tried all beta versions now, and always have to remove them becuase of this issue. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a solution? Note I had google toolbar and the microsoft developer toolbar installed.

I would, off the bat suggest a system restore but I think this may have occurred in the past (since you originally installed the beta 3 version, maybe the automatic update was also applied) and doing it again could just screw things up further. Lets see your logs and see. Regards.

I could not open OE links with IE7 B2 installed even with IE set as the default browser. Now with beta 3 this functionality has been restored.
